Men's Ministry
Here at ORRB we recognize the important role that God has given men. They are given the responsibility of leading in the church, society, and the family. Therefore, our men’s ministry is seeking to equip men to be servant leaders in all of these areas. We offer the following opportunities specifically for men to be involved both in learning and serving at our church:
- Entrusting Faithful Men (EFM) –We are providing men with specialized theological training in 12 six week units covering topics from leadership, to Bible survey and language courses. We see these courses as forming the heart of our men’s training – entrusting faithful men with the Truth so that they might pass those truths on to the next generation! 3:30-5:30pm Sundays…
- Men’s Breakfast – The men meet once a month to eat and catch up with one another. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of every month at 7am (6am if you can help cook!)
- Men’s Service Projects – In order to stretch the finances God has provided us, the men complete most of the repairs and improvements here at our church. On top of this, we also are always looking for ways to practically help our church members. We normally schedule at least one service project a month, usually completed on the same day as our Men’s Breakfast.
- Opportunities for Leadership – Men are encouraged to lead in our Sunday morning worship service by praying and reading Scripture. If you’d like to be added to the rotation speak with Stan Johnson.
