MISSIONS

Ryan and Nicole Richie - Utupampa, Peru

Richie

Ryan and Nicole Richie are called of God to serve as missionaries for life.  They married in 2006 and were called to the mission field in 2007.

God’s first service location for them is Peru in the small remote mountain village of Utupampa.  They are located in the northern Andes Mountains.  They moved there in 2007, have become immersed in the community and have begun earning the trust of the local natives.  The natives speak primarily Huaylas Quechua (a local dialect) and Spanish.  The locals are largely unreached by the true Gospel, so the Lord has placed Ryan and Nicole in what will prayerfully be a very fruitful location.  They have already begun meeting with locals and teaching the good news of the Gospel.

Ryan and Nicole embrace the doctrines of grace and believe that the chief end of all mission work is the Glory of God.  ORRB began partnering with Ryan and Nicole in their mission efforts in December 2007.

More information about the Richie's ministry in Peru may be found on thier website.
